Darwin is primed to be Australia’s next large Data Centre hub, offering investors the critical building blocks for Data Centres, including high speed and low latency connectivity, power availability and competitive pricing and suitable and competitive priced land.
LOLS10在线直播下注There are multiple planned routes to connect Darwin into a number of international low latency sub-sea cables are at various stages of development, the most notable being Sun Cable’s $20 billion Australia-Singapore Power Link.
The Territory Government has already made significant inroads to become a connection hub for technology companies, this year partnering with leading Australian telecommunications company Vocus to upgrade the Territory’s fibre-optic cable network from 400 gigabits to 20 terabits.
A commercial Data Centre in Darwin will be a catalyst for further investment and development, local jobs and opportuntites to grow the energy, defence and tech sectors.
